Libel’s team is growing; we now have a new editor to work alongside editor in chief Krijn van Eeden. Zlata is a member of the IFLRY member organisation Liberal Democratic League of Ukraine, where she is a member of the International Affairs Department. She grew up in Crimea, and is currently living in Kyiv, Ukraine, where she studies for a bachelor degree in English and Spanish to Ukrainian translation at the National Linguistic University.
The political turmoil in Ukraine in the last few years made Zlata feel that she had to start contributing to shaping her country’s politics. And studying linguistics, getting more involved in journalism seemed a logical step to her towards that aim. We are very happy to have Zlata as a new member of our team, and hope she’ll be working with us to improve and expand Libel in the future.
