IFLRY Online is IFLRY’s new initiative to allow liberals from all over the world to interact with each other more online. In that spirit, IFLRY organises regular online seminars, in which different people in the IFLRY network explain more about the political situation in their country. In this fifth seminar Jules Maaten, IFLRY president during the 1980s, explains how IFLRY operated in the political climate of the time, discussing amongst other things the youth conferences with young people form Eastern Block countries he attended.
